Coaching
Space to think. Clarity to move forward.
Sometimes you know something needs to change, but working out exactly what — and what to do about it — is harder.
You might be dealing with pressure at work, struggling with confidence, facing an important decision or transition, or simply feeling stuck in an area of your life that isn't working as well as you'd like.
Coaching gives you dedicated time and space to step back from the situation, understand what's happening and look at things from a different perspective.
I work with people on both professional and personal challenges. You don't need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal or know exactly what you want to change. We can work that out together.
What can coaching help with?
Everyone comes to coaching for different reasons. Some of the areas I commonly work with include:
Confidence and self-belief — developing greater confidence in yourself and your ability to handle challenging situations.
Clarity and direction — working out what you want when you're feeling stuck, uncertain or at a crossroads.
Decisions and change — thinking through important choices and navigating periods of transition.
Pressure and resilience — understanding how pressure is affecting you and developing more sustainable ways of responding.
Workplace challenges — difficult relationships, conversations, competing priorities or situations that are taking up too much mental space.
Personal development — understanding yourself better, challenging assumptions and patterns, and making changes that matter to you.
These aren't fixed programmes that everyone has to follow. Our work will be shaped around you, your circumstances and what you want to achieve.
I have established coaching tools, frameworks and programmes that I can draw upon where they're useful, while adapting our work as your needs and understanding develop.
How I coach
I don't see coaching as somebody giving you advice or telling you what you should do.
You already bring your own experience, strengths and understanding of your life to the conversation.
My role is to help you slow things down, ask useful questions, notice things you may not have noticed before, challenge you when that would be helpful and give you the space to explore possibilities without judgement.
Alongside the conversation itself, I may introduce practical tools, exercises or psychological approaches where they can help you understand something differently or put what we're discussing into practice.
Most importantly, I want our work to be useful outside the coaching session.
Wherever possible, you'll leave with insights, strategies and tools you can continue using long after our work together has finished.
Individual Coaching
You don't need a senior job title or a major crisis to benefit from coaching.
Perhaps you want to feel more confident. Perhaps something in your personal or professional life has reached a crossroads. Perhaps you're struggling with a decision, finding it difficult to make a change, or simply want some dedicated space to work something through.
Individual coaching sessions are normally 60 minutes and are delivered online.
I recommend a minimum of three sessions because meaningful change usually needs some time for us to explore what's happening, identify what you want to be different and give you an opportunity to put things into practice between sessions.
Individual Coaching Packages
3 × 60-minute sessions — £450
A focused coaching engagement for a particular issue, decision, goal or area you'd like to change.
6 × 60-minute sessions — £850
More time to explore an issue in greater depth, put changes into practice and review what happens as you move forward.
Longer 90-minute sessions can also be arranged where appropriate or preferred.
All coaching begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation, giving us an opportunity to discuss what you'd like help with and whether working together feels like the right fit.

Leadership & Executive Coaching
Coaching for managers and leaders
Leadership can be rewarding. It can also bring pressures that aren't always easy to discuss with the people around you.
You may be navigating organisational change, stepping into greater responsibility, dealing with difficult relationships, trying to influence more effectively, struggling with confidence at a more senior level, or finding that sustained pressure is beginning to affect how you think, feel or perform.
For managers and leaders facing more complex professional challenges, I offer a deeper coaching engagement with sufficient time not only to explore what's happening, but to apply new approaches, learn from what happens and integrate those changes into the way you work.
Areas we might work on include:
leadership confidence and executive presence
handling sustained pressure and developing resilience
difficult relationships and challenging conversations
influence and stakeholder relationships
navigating organisational change
stepping into a new or more senior role
decision-making and clarity under pressure
leadership style, assumptions and patterns
balancing leadership responsibilities with life outside work
The work is tailored to the individual rather than restricted to a predetermined curriculum.
Leadership & Executive Coaching Programme — £1,800
The programme includes:
6 × 90-minute coaching sessions
plus
1 × 90-minute integration and review session 6–8 weeks later
giving 10.5 hours of individual coaching in total.
The follow-up session provides an opportunity to review what's happened after you've had time to apply the work in practice, reinforce what's working and address anything that still needs attention.
The programme also includes:
preparation tailored to our work
relevant exercises and resources
email contact between sessions
optional support calls of up to 30 minutes between sessions where helpful
The programme can be commissioned directly by an individual or funded by their organisation.
Where an organisation requires additional consultation, programme design or stakeholder/triad meetings, these are charged separately at £200 per hour.

Resilience Under Pressure
Still coping — but only just?
One particular focus of my leadership coaching is supporting experienced managers and leaders who are dealing with sustained pressure at work.
You may still be functioning, leading your team and getting things done — but finding it increasingly difficult to switch off, think clearly or recover properly before the next working day begins.
Resilience Under Pressure is my structured coaching programme designed specifically for managers and leaders in this position.
It isn't about teaching you to tolerate more.
It's about understanding what sustained pressure is doing to you, recognising your own patterns and responses, and developing practical ways of handling difficult days differently — before work begins to consume too much of the rest of your life.

Coaching, hypnotherapy — or both?
Sometimes coaching is exactly the right approach.
Sometimes a person understands what they want to change at a conscious level but finds that certain feelings or automatic responses continue to get in the way.
Because I am also a qualified hypnotherapist, where appropriate we can discuss whether incorporating hypnotherapy into our work could be useful.
There's no assumption that we will. You can work with me entirely through coaching if that's what you want.

Not sure where to start?
You don't need to decide which package, approach or even exactly what you want to work on before contacting me.
We can start with a complimentary 30-minute consultation.
It's an opportunity to tell me a little about what's happening, ask questions about how I work and explore what kind of support might be most useful.
There's no obligation to continue afterwards.
